Christmas Lights 2009

Our neighbor down the road has a wonderful kid friendly light display that we love! And we especially love to be able to take the kids.



Children are encouraged to run around and explore and to interact with the displays. Bennett had so much fun visiting last year.

I think it is safe to say he enjoyed it again this year.

Hannan visited the lights after Christmas Eve Communion at Church.

He already had on his pj's but the weather was nice ......................

....... so he and Uncle Jim enjoyed Santa's train ride......


..... and petting the lambs.

But I think Hannan really wanted to ride this horse.

Bennett saw the lights a few nights earlier and drove Santa's sleigh....


....... and tried to ride this camel......

................... visited the manger where baby Jesus was asleep on the hay....................



.............. visited a ginger bread house..............



............... sat by a "fire" with Laurie........................

................. then gave Santa a good bye hug.

Yes, Brooks was there but he did not seem that interested. Leslie, Laurie, and I took turns sitting in the car with Brooks. I wonder if Brooks will be walking by next Christmas?


If not we'll push him right up to the lights in his stroller and let him see the dancing Santa.
