Huntin' For Hannan

Have you been huntin' for Hannan?


He's been very busy this fall. We went to the annual "Reunion in the Swamp" just before Jimmy started the latest round of "Restoring the Gulf". Jimmy insisted Hannan see the Swanee River where Jimmy's Dad was baptized. As you see, it was very low. It may be so low now that only the Methodist can use it.


But Hannan has been ridin' the rails,

sliding at the bounce house,





and getting ready.........................

October 28 and It Is Still Hot!

Just noticed my Sept 18 and It Is Still Hot post. Well ..................

October 28 and It is STILL HOT!!!!!!!


AND DRY!!!!!! What has it been? 10 weeks without rain?


At least I have a helper some days.

I was visiting your house..........

and after checking out the magazines......




like all the littles.............

I headed right for the squirrel.



Just wanted to reach out and touch it.



It made me droll with anticipation.


Then Juju got the toy box out for me.


I squealed with delight!!!

It was my first time with the whole box. I started cleaning it out.

YUM!



Another day I was just hanging around.......


and thought of something.


No, not the rug. But I do love that rug.



Yep....... The stairs.
I went upstairs and found ................

a friend.
When I tried to touch him ...........


he reached for my hand.

So I licked him.





He would not come out to play.

On the Road Again

I had such a great time in Mississippi that I decided to go again.


Spent time walking along the beach in Ocean Springs. Past the public fishing pier.


Enjoying the view of the bridge over the Biloxi Bay.




And on the other side of the walk and across the street these beautiful oak trees surrounding a beautiful house.

Just down the street are my favorite houses.

Then into downtown Ocean Springs ..................

With the canopy of oak trees reaching across the streets......

................ of neat shops and restaurants.


Later a drive along the Biloxo beach.............



.... as the sun was setting. Jimmy decided to check .................


for tar balls just to make sure the crews had not missed anything.



The moon was up in the East.

Then back to Ocean Springs for dinner at my favorite ...................

Aunt Jenny's. Under the Oaks. This time with a working camera. Fun Visit.

I wanted Juju to open the tool box but she said,


" Those are Jimpa's tools. We can't play with them."


But I told her that ..............



...............you always let me play with them.


So I worked on some things on the .............
