Friends Arrive!

Wednesday, September 5, the first friends arrived for the wedding weekend.

Amber ...............

and Mary Todd were the first to arrive.

Thursday was for relaxing with manicures ............

and pedicures!

Sweet Claire said that her toes were in need of attention, too.

Brooksie came to lunch with us at Cheese and Feed.

Then back home to meet Erin and another sweetie! Mary Margaret!

Gathering on the Square

Andrea's family hosted an afternoon gathering.....................
 

honoring Laurie and Stephen. These guys are Stephen's uncles, Lee and John, and their wives, Tracy and Laura. These two ladies had some great (pinterest inspired) food prepared.

Laurie received mittens from a Canadian relative .....


 

so she is all set for a visit the cold North.

Annabell was a wonderful hostess .

Christmas in August

Laurie's Bible Study girls celebrated Christmas in August ......................

 Burlap Christmas wreath ................ but also included a bow and a different colored cross to replace the "S"  for each season. And a family Bible. Great time with great friends!

Bridal Luncheon

The ladies from the Colquitt County  office of the Georgia Extension Agency hosted a Luncheon honoring Laurie at Tarragon Grill .........

 

  The ladies are Andrea's work friends.

Sunday Night Church Family Barbeque (August 12)

Our Church family had a barbeque dinner to celebrate Laurie and Stephen's marriage.

Great dinner and a beautiful "wedding" cake for them to practice cutting.

Here's a gift that would have come in handy for a little photo shot just before the dinner - gnat masks!

And a guest favorite ............. the little ugly dogs. Another evening of great blessings in the celebrating and the wonderful gifts. ( May update later if I can find a new photo server!)
