Happy Chickens

 If great cheese come from happy cows ...............

then surely great eggs come from happy chickens.

 

And I believe we have happy chickens. Hannan loves giving the girls a little treat.

Janie likes a little pat on the back and seems to say thanks for the treat! If Janie is out of the pen and the back doors opens, she runs as fast as her little drumsticks will carry her toward the house  for a little attention. She sort of squats ( can chickens squat?) down in front of Jimmy for him to pet her.

Yep! These are happy chickens ........

and they are giving us plenty of eggs again.

 

We are almost ready for Easter egg hunting with all of our colors and shades of colors. No blue egg to share today. It must have been someone's breakfast.

 Happy chickens and Happy Boys -who watch them, feed them, gather their eggs, hold them, and  chase them.
