Sounds like the low country..................

When you hear ......................shrimp boil................................................

..............................................sand..............................

......................................................music and dancing you may

think of South Carolina's low country.......

...................... but no.

It's just the Rogers clan.........

gathering at the Cabin on Golden Pond.

Playing at the sand table.

Enjoying a low country boil....................

Watching our guest clean up.......................

And enjoying the music....................

................................ the dancing .............................

After the sun goes down..............................................

little jackets appear and .................................

........................................................................the fun continues.

A Story of a Football Player

The University of Georgia once had a football player who a great athlete..........

..................... with a magnificent build........................

but he was never cocky about his abilities.

He could run ..........................

like a pony.

And he could jump......................

.................... extremely high.

(But not as high as a fairy.)

His arm was so strong .............

he never missed his mark.

And his aim...................................

was precise!
People stood in long lines to see him............

...........................which really amazed the humble player.

The ladies adored him....................

and the men just wanted to have their picture made with him.

And he graciously posed with all of them, even when he grew tired.

His remembered the elderly and the sick................

........................ unselfishly.............................

................making cookies for them.

And all he ever asked in return...............

................................was five marshmallows, please!

The Fields Are White....................

The fields are white for harvest. Sweet Photo by Laurie.

A Boy's Day

Bennett is ALL BOY. Loves being outside ............. especially in the woods.

He's been scoping out the woods looking for deer tracks ......... getting ready for opening day.

Just a little something he learned at 2 year old preschool. Fingers flapping in ear..... tongue out. You know the sound!

And of course he loves the heavy equipment. He was able to sit on this big "tree cutter" .............

.......... but only on the wheel. He was really sad that the cab was locked. He tried to figure out a way inside.

He also loves searching for, then examining, bugs............ then picking them up and bringing them to you to enjoy.

We have some inside bugs for practice.

But sometimes a boy gets distracted.......................

....... by a girl!
