Christmas Traditions I
First Annual Oyster Roast at Jimmy's Park
A little fire, a little mud, throw in oysters ( and crackers) and all the boys are happy! Big and small. And girls too!
Then down the road to the neighbor's light display. Boys running to check out each display and trying to catch sight of the fish in the little pond. Laughing , dancing with Santa and even a little dog to play with this year. Thank you Barbara for your wonderful hospitality! These boys ( and girls) look forward to this visit as part of our celebration.
Boys exchanging gifts .............................. Happy little boys!
Then others. Great celebration! Great day! Great Shrimp and Grits of course. Our tradition.

Annual Christmas ShoppingTrip
Leslie and I had our 3rd annual " git 'er done " shopping trip, started the year Brooksie was born. ( Or second year here.) One last trip to finish our Christmas shopping. Pick up stocking stuffers. Whatever we need. Not so much shopping ......... as buying!
Our lists were coordinated and our route planned. Get in , get out. This year we had an unusually beautiful day, unlike the cold and rainy days we have had the last two years.
.
We had a successful and fun day thanks to the DVD player,.....................................
the chicken nuggets, the Pez dispensers with Cars figures on top........
and my telephone.
It was a shop til' you drop .......................or until you finish trip.
I hope Bo was finished ....... he was surely done!

Brooksie always goes for the Baby Jesus.
" Baby Jesus " Brooksie says ..................
................. "and he has a bank."
( Brooksie has a paci and bank........ blanket)

A Day of Moultrie Christmas Traditions
While Leslie and Laurie helped the elves .............. the boys and I enjoyed watching Santa from a distance as we ate.
Santa had a long line so we just made a picture with the Mrs......
A little shopping in the secret shop ...........
and the sweet shop......................
was enjoyed by all.
Later downtown for the Christmas Parade ......
under the canopy of lights.
Then the batteries died before we could record these boys lovin' the parade.
But we did finish off the night with supper at Dairy Queen ..................... including cheese fries. Only in Moultrie! Happy Day!
