Labor day has come and gone so this series of photos will finish the summer series....... The Boys of Summer.


Does anything say summer like a creamsicle,..................

..........( maybe not Hannan's favorite).............. boiled peanuts,....







..................................... cool water on a hot day,...................

............... a new slip'n slide,................


.................... or, of course, golf.





............................. which calls for a snack.

And of course more ice cream on the front porch.




Summer kisses are the juiciest.


And more water to wash away the grime from summer fun.

Spending a July afternoon on the screened porch with two ceiling fans and a new water table .... watching boys play..............priceless!

Summertime.....................

and IT IS HOT! and dry at Still Waters. When Bennett and I walked down to the pond to throw rocks and sticks into it today the water line was about two feet out from where it was the week before last. So it was muddy along the shore line. But the rocks and sticks from our last few throwing sessions were where we could reach them and throw them out again.


So............... when it is hot you just need to cool off..............
