South Georgia Grapes

After enduring the long HOT HUMID days with just enough rain we are paid with wonderful grapes bursting with sweet nectar. We plant grape vines every year.

So far nothing for us!!! But we were invited over to visit the mother of our grape vines.

Look at these clusters. They were my favorite.

White grapes. Yum . They were my favorite.

So sweet.

Our host pulls back the vines to show the vines laden with fruit.

Reaching in to pick grapes to share.

Uncle Tolly and his magnificent grape vines.

Look at these vines. We are going to try again. Planting grape vines that is. Uncle Tolly hopes this trip will inspire us.

We also had a wonderful steak dinner but I was so full of grapes I really would have liked to just bring the dinner home for another day but Sara threatened to call me a name if I asked for a doggie bag. So she took my leftovers home for her lucky dogs.

I did bring grapes home. Grapes for dinner tonight!
