Tomatoes : The Taste of Summer

 We bought a couple of boxes of tomatoes this week. I did grow tomatoes this year and they have a great flavor , but they are small. So...........

 for the first time ever, I canned tomatoes.

I have often frozen vegetables.............

but wanted to try canning.

Now I can make soup with my home- frozen corn, beans,and  peas, and  home canned tomatoes. Maybe I also need to put up some okra.

They look beautiful!

 I hope they will taste as good as they look.
