Fall

I've been reading on different blogs about leaves changing colors, children wearing jackets, the first frost of the year and even the first snow fall of the season. BUT, in South Georgia we have had record breaking highs and humidity of 100%. IT HAS BEEN HOT!

But, we still celebrate the seasons. We gather whatever orange, gold, and yellow we can find, turn the air down a little more, and pretend it's a different season. We are forever optimistic!

A gathering that I helped with at Gin Creek.

Beautiful arrangements! We turned our air down today and enjoyed the beautiful fall leaves that you brought to our table...then we walked outside and almost suffocated from the heat!

I was able to carry that beautiful basket of fall bounty home (seen in the first picture)! It has made us feel a little closer to fall! Now if the weather would just cooperate! Thank you for our little gift of fall!
