Duck, Duck, ........................

..... and more DUCKS!

When the family down-the- lane was vacationing in August I fed their ducks. The ducks were still young and had not been living at the pond too long. They were just learning to fend for themselves and they really looked forward to their evening meal.

One day I was a little late and they were coming up from the pond to meet me.

Wibbel, wobble, wibbel, wobble, to and fro..............................

............ and , believe me.............. there were a lot of "Quack! Quack! Quacks!"

Obviously, I just made it before they ALL DIED of starvation!

Now, just a few weeks later they don't even come up to eat their food. They grow up so quickly.
