Autumn Give Away

Since all of the "big " bloggers have give-aways..........................

and since I have not posted in too long.........................................

and since I just lost my self indulgent autumn post that I was working on .....................

Here is my first give away!!!!!!

Two books by a new favorite author Charles Martin,

Wrapped in Rain and The Dead don't Dance. These books were
given to me by a dear friend who told me to read them then pass
them on. Charles Martin is a Christian and a Southerner. Both by
the grace of God. So, I'll randomly choose a comment for a person
to receive these books then of course you must pass them on to
everyone else in our group. Just comment on one of your favorite
books or authors and I'll toss a coin or roll a die if there are more
than two comments to determine a winner!

Good luck!

Oh, yea. WE need a deadline. Sunday night at 10:00 PM Eastern Time!

Yay! I'm the first! My favorite author is a family favorite- Dorothea Benton Frank. Her books are the best, taking you away on a relaxing mini vacation to the low-country of Carolina. Pick me! I love free stuff!

I am not sure if I am in your group? I do not get your blog-does that mean I am in your group.

If the roll of the dice picks me-I will give the books to someone not in your group, or maybe in your group.

My favority number on the dice is six. My favority book was The Adventures of Tom Saywer.

Correction: I do get your blog, but I am not sure I am in your group.

How many are in your group?

Pick me I love free stuff!

Roll six-I claim that number.

Well since someone already said my favorite author I will say my current fave is Robin Jones Gunn. I am reading what I can find of her Glenbrooke series and looking for the rest.
Pick Me! I need a new book to read!

No, no, no! Pick me. I have lots of kids in college so I can't buy new books. Oh, and do I need to mention, my friend has reflux and I had a stroke.

I have postpartum hair loss and won't be able to leave the house soon b/c I have no hair! Pick Me Please! (Just Kidding-Jay already has these books-I just need to actually sit down and read them!) Oh-and I don't read many novels, but my favorite author is probably Max Lucado. (?)

Hey - How about a little credit here. I introduced you to him - this Charles Martin fellow. So, I deserve the books even though I already have them. I can wrap one set of them up and give them to one of these other desperate book beggers for Christmas since now I know something they want.

Sticking to the contest rules, my favroite author is definately New International Version. His simplicity and "straight talk" are amazing and exactly what every reader needs (He-He).

Ya'll , this is not " Queen for a Day" ( old TV show where the saddest story wins the prize). It will be conducted in the most scientific way. At 10:01 I will roll a die,if one can be located. Otherwise I'll dig out my TI-83 graphing calculator and generate a random number between one and six. Your number will correspond with your entry order. One per person! Good luck and thanks for the interesting comments.

I'm probably in most need of these books simply b/c they don't seem to be my usual fare: clandestine ops into terrorist countries/loner stranger ridding towns of crooks/squirrels and their antics.

My favorite authors are Lee Child, Brad Thor and Dr. Seuss.
